Welcome to BusinessDoks!

Help

Simply click or tap on the +Upload Dok button. This is located on the left side of the page on desktop on every page, and on phone it is located on the homepage or within the navigation tool on every page.

You can upload a document from your computer or device that you would like securely stored, and/or receive a reminder for when it is due to expire. Documents like insurance, bills, licensing, certifcation, leases and training are perfect for use with BusinessDoks.

After uploading your file, you will be prompted to enter some detail for the file. This helps us better store your file, and also lets us send you a reminder just before it’s expiry date.

Choose a name. This is pretty simple. Here’s an example. “I’ve uploaded our house insurance invoice and policy. You could name it ”House insurance” or “1 Main St, House Insurance”

Choose or create a folder. This helps better categorise your files, especially as you keep adding more files. Here’s an example. “I’m uploading my house insurance documents, so I could name the folder for it ”House documents” or “1 Main St Important Documents”. By creating a folder for all documents relative to your house, you can add other documents to this folder with ease.

Set your expiry for your document. If you have a renewal date for your policy, license, or even just a date that you need to pay a bill - you can set it here. We’ll automatically remind you 7 days before it expires. We’ll also remind you on the date of expiry if you haven’t updated your document.

Congratulations! You’ve just used BusinessDoks perfectly. Be sure to renew your document in the real world (make contact with your supplier, licenser or issuer). Once you receive your new updated document you can update the document you have created in BusinessDoks.

Simply navigate to the old or expiring version of the document in BusinessDoks and click/tap on “Update”. You will be prompted to upload the new document to replace the old one. Enter in the new expiry dates and submit. This then automatically creates an archive of your older documents, which you can access whenever you require.

Archived documents are a feature in BusinessDoks that allow you to store and retrieve older versions of documents that have expired. Here’s an example of how that can be used:

“I have been adding my monthly phone bill into BusinessDoks and updating it correctly. I have a dispute with my phone company from a bill from 8 months ago. I simply navigate to the phone bill in BusinessDoks and download the specific document from the archive area for the document”
Here’s another example:

“I was concerned that my car insurance provider was charging too much for the current year of service. I simply opened BusinessDoks and navigated to my car insurance document, looked at the archive section and was able to easily compare old bills and policy details.”

Navigate to the document you wish to delete. On desktop you will see options to update, download and delete on the right hand side of your page. On mobile, you can see these options immediately when you click on a document.

No. We’ve built BusinessDoks as a non-sharing software. To see any of your documents, you need to log in through the BusinessDoks interface and download them directly to the device you are using. This was designed to maximise security for your files.

No. BusinessDoks promises to not use any user or cookie data in a commercial way. We may use cookies to improve your website experience, but that’s pretty much it.

Our free use system is limited to 1G of storage. Our premium service gives you access to our unlimited storage capacity. BusinessDoks Premium is currently priced at US$9.99 per month, with usage charges per MB of storage added to your account.
